Full job description

We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team.

You will play a crucial role in making a positive impact on the lives of individuals within our community who require assistance and support.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care and support to individuals in their homes or community
  • Assist with daily activities, personal care, meal prep, and household tasks
  • Foster independence by supporting them to attend social and recreational activities
  • Maintaining accurate records
  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of the individual
  • Evening/weekend work required

Requirements:

  • Previous experience preferrable however if you are a compassionate person looking to get into Care full training will be given
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Empathy, patience, and a non-judgmental attitude
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in maintaining accurate records
  • Valid driver’s licence and access to reliable transportation
