Full job description
We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team.
You will play a crucial role in making a positive impact on the lives of individuals within our community who require assistance and support.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals in their homes or community
- Assist with daily activities, personal care, meal prep, and household tasks
- Foster independence by supporting them to attend social and recreational activities
- Maintaining accurate records
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of the individual
- Evening/weekend work required
Requirements:
- Previous experience preferrable however if you are a compassionate person looking to get into Care full training will be given
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathy, patience, and a non-judgmental attitude
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in maintaining accurate records
- Valid driver’s licence and access to reliable transportation
