Experienced Teaching Assistant – Primary School at New Formation Education

New Formation Education is seeking an Experienced Teaching Assistant for a September start in Stoke Newington in East London.

Full time: Monday – Friday: 8:30am – 4:00pm:

New Formation are currently looking for an experienced Teaching Assistants to work in an excellent school in Hackney. This would be a varied role where you will work as a classroom Teaching Assistant, on a 1:1 basis with children with additional learning needs and in taking small intervention groups outside the classroom.

What we are looking for:

We are currently looking to recruit a hard-working and passionate Experienced Teaching Assistant. This individual will need to be able to commit to supporting this pupil from now until the end of the academic year (July 2024) The position could also continue into the next academic year.

We would like to hear from you if:

• You are a teaching assistant with previous experience working with students in Primary School.
• You have a background in Special Educational Needs
• You have a very patient and understanding nature.
• You have prior experience of leading small intervention groups
• Have ambitions to go on and lead a class and complete your teaching training.

Requirements:

• You must be able to commit for the whole of the next academic year.
• Energetic and forward-thinking
• Flexible and able to adapt activities to suit the learning needs of the children.
• You must also be in possession of a Child Workforce DBS (registered on the Update Service) or be willing to apply for one.
