Credit Controller

Due to company expansion our client a leading manufacturing company are looking to recruit for a Credit Controller to join their team.

The Role

· Proactively agree ledgers with key account customers

· Daily oversight of credit control technical processing

· Putting accounts on hold when required

· Setting up, agreeing, and altering payment plans

· Setting up credit limits for customers

· Develop and maintain a system for reminder letters, emails for overdue debt

· Daily coordination with invoicing team

· Active management of aged debts

· Chasing overdue payments from customers

Essential Criteria

· At minimum 2 years (+) working in credit control

· Excellent communication skills

· Good level of accounting knowledge

· Ability to prioritise workload

· A positive can-do attitude

· Good level of computer skills particularly in Word, Excel and Office

Salary: £27,000.00-£32,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Dungannon, County Tyrone: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

  • accounting: 1 year (preferred)
  • credit control: 1 year (preferred)
