Senior Accountant at Adey Fitzgerald and Walker

We are seeking a hardworking, motivated individual to join our accountancy firm as a Senior Accountant. The applicant will mainly work at our office in Cowbridge but will be required to travel to our office in Barry on occasion.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

· Complete year end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.

· Be competent in the completion of self assessment tax returns and corporation tax returns.

· Possess a good understanding of VAT and Payroll.

· Be the point of contact for all queries providing a high standard of customer care.

Requirements and skills:

· Studying/qualified ACCA

· Recent and relevant experience in a practice environment.

· Capable of working to deadlines and be focused to exceed client demands.

· Excellent customer service skills.

· Possess the ability to prioritise workloads.

· Be able to take initiative and work without supervision.

· A professional and hard-working attitude.

· Respectful, trustworthy, polite, honest, and strong work ethic.

Salary: Up to £50,000 depending on experience and qualifications

Hours: Usual hours will be Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, but there is flexibility with this.

Job type: Permanent, full-time position (study leave will be granted if required).
