Warehouse Assistant at Nurtured Talent International

PURPOSE

 To assist with the day to day running of the warehouse in accordance with company standards in order to ensure optimum efficiency and reliability.

Duties and Responsibilities

 PPC Pigeonholing

 PPC Wrapping Activities

 Door assembly and preparation.

 Materials handling.

 Stock control.

 Goods in/receiving.

 Order packing.

 Quality control activities.

 External deliveries and collection, including driving.

 Use of light fabrication machinery.

 General warehouse duties including the use of workshop equipment.

 Exercising own judgement and initiative.

 Working with limited supervision and with the ability to meet tight deadlines.

 Demonstrating a commitment to own personal development within the post.

 Any other duties as may reasonable be required.

 Ensure knowledge and awareness of your roles and responsibilities under the Company’s integrated management systems in relation to Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental.

 Ensure knowledge and understanding of the Company’s policies and procedures in relation to data protection legislation.

Person Specification

 Health and safety training.

 Ability to prioritise tasks.

 Effective organisational and communication skills.

 Inter-personal skills and an ability to work as part of a team and develop and maintain good working relationships.

 Ability to work effectively and responsibly without close supervision.

 Ability to exercise initiative and work independently.

 Ability to work under pressure.

 Accuracy and attention to detail.

Hours and Environment

 38.25 hours per week working on a shift pattern to be determined by local management.

 Hours outside of standard hours may be required, as necessary, for deliveries.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Up to £24,000.00 per year
