LEC is a well-established Paris based company with more than fifty years experience in providing quality language courses and activity programs for French students aged between 12 to 17 years old.

Our dedicated and well-trained team contributors consisting of teachers, assistants, and area coordinators, not to mention our highly experienced staff in Paris, mean that you have non-stop support and assistance with any questions or problems that may arise before, during or after the stay.
What does the role of Local Coordinator involve?
Local Coordinators do a number of exciting and interesting tasksincluding:
- Recruiting, interviewing and vetting potential Host Families
- Hiring a local tuition venue
- Designing an activity program for the afternoon activities and excursions
- Meeting the students on arrival
- Liaising between students and Host Families during the stay
- Giving support to the French staff
- Promoting international understanding and friendship
What qualities de we look for in a Local Coordinator?
Above all, you need to be a people-person! You should also be dynamic, organized, understanding to the needs of teenagers, self-motivated, and easy to get in touch withby phone/e-mail.
The job as a Local Organiser is a flexible part time job paid on a commission related basis (between around £2500 and £3500 for one group of 30 students). Whilst you are free to plan your time as you please to organise the stay before the group arrives, you need to be present and available in your town during the students’ actual stay.
